I tend to doubt that you failed. And 160-proof is pretty heavy-duty fora young pup.Thorin wrote:I've had absinthe, it was so strong it was technically illegal, my friend's brother brought it back to the UK from Ibiza. Yeah, about 4 of us shared a litre bottle. Considering it was about 80% we were *pretty* wrecked
And I'm pretty sure I just failed maths. Oh well, at least I won't get in debt at uni if I'm not going

I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster

Outwards and onwards, I say!
I started hitting the gym these past couple of months again to try and get back into shape. I was literally fitter when I was 12 than I am now in terms of stamina/long distance running. And I was physically stronger when I was 16 than I am now (I'm 18), though I've finally began to catch up with regards to the latter. So, I went to the gym yesterday, and I signed in only to be told that the gym was told, by my bank, that my bank account type doesn't do direct debits! Even though they blatantly and non-ambigiously state my type of account does do DDs, and I've already set some up! Yeah, so anyway, whatever unlucky cashier at my nearest Branch of the Bank of Scotland gets me in the queue will be getting quite the earful!

Negative inflation? Not likely any time soon. How much interest would $150 create, I wonder? Plus, all the hidden fees and surcharges and teller fees, etc. make it a losing battle over here unless you've got a lot in the account.Thorin wrote:Mikey wrote:Ah, "studies in modern currency-based terrorism;" AKA banking.
Tsuki, I'd love to be able to keep all my money on me, but if it's not earning interest it's essentially being devalued... Unless we one year get negative inflation.

Ok, this is in line of the original topic.
I will not post anything else today, and maybe not tomorrow.
My cat, and closest friend, of 15 years died today of a brain tumor. Sorry if this upsets anyone, but I feel you need to know. If anyone wants to know the details, feel free to PM me. I'll get back to you eventually.

I'm sorry, stitch. I know how much I love my dogs, and I've lost a number of animals over the years that I considered friends, so I can empathize.
