Don't quit just yet, Blackstar - we have no room or use for a civilian pilot, or civilian anything to be entrusted with mission ops.
Oh sure we were friends. Then he killed me. Then I got bored with death so I came back to life. That makes sense right? Well more sense then the Temporal Cold war. That's not saying much though.

I figured quiting would be a last resort. Beside I love finding door #3 in these situations. But isn't throwing kids out of airlocks against regulations? He couldn't really be allowed to do that, right?

Wha? :?

It's only against the rules if you get caught.
But no, that probably wont happen. Though it may end up with you getting thrown out the airlock. :P

As far as regulations, well, one of Mikey's priorities is Mikey... and I am a lieutenant commander while Rochey is a commander... and that goes a long way towards the regulations (within bounds of self-interest and my own morality) being what he tells me they are...

Well, If someone could get a secure channel to Dr.Taal then he could theoretically order Rochey to allow the baby to be kept in medical care.

Well I'd survive. Long enough for Sally to beam me back on board at least.

And Mikey's morality doesn't include protecting children? tsk tsk. Since I'm guessing the new medic will be posting next make sure to have my character commenting on how shi thinks Mikey may not have been father material/mate material(something along those lines) afterall.

Don't judge me based on human or Chakat morals - just because Andorian ones are different, doesn't mean that they are less valid to me.

And a roll in the hay is fine, but I never claimed to be ready for fatherhood. I actually have an involved backstory concerning my own relationship with my father, if you want to explore that.

Well, my character is basing hir judgement on the fact that your character compleatly dodged hir after shi had the baby. To be fair he(and the rest of the team) have had a long hard away mission so far. Shi'll probably wait to see what his next move is.

there. Add in a little decadent imperialist Romulan nature and a little humour and hopefully it shall pass mustard.

I just thought how opposite the Romulan and Chakat cultures are. Romulans are secretive and back-stabbing while Chakats are open and trusting/hugging. Although a Romulan could be very confused about which back to stab on a Chakat.

I was really just trying to portray someone who had laready had a little too much to process for the present. I'll stand up for something sooner or later.

True but, IIRC, we're under radio silence. Sending a communication to a Starfleet ship (which is a good deal away, IIRC) would be one spectacular way to blow our disguise.

Again, isn't the ship a good deal away, thus the need for a shuttle?

Yeah, learning that the chief of security just fragged one of our own guys would probably take priority over other concerns.

Well, that PLUS the fact that YOU probablywouldn't see it as much of a problem.
