Friends of mine started playing AD&D at about nine.

It'd be better if they were already interested, though.

Bought a space orginizer for the closet, heavy ass thing that I had to lug around. Had to break out the exacto knife to get through the armor that was the thick cardboard and layers upon layers of heavy duty tape. Started putting it together...and found out it was a piece of shit in the worst way. The pre-drilled screw holes were too big for the screws they provided, so when I went to set it up right, they just pulled right out of the holes and the whole thing collapsed. Shoved it back in the box and returned it.

Never buy that shit. If you have to then ignore how they want you to put it together and break out the wood glue and nail gun.

Well, what are you going to do about it? The company that made it is probably located in China; the best you could to is complain to the completely powerless BBB.

You did get your money back, right? :?

it's raining. I don't like rain, but not as much as Anakin Skywalker hates sand.

And I have various Transformers scattered around my desk.

Wow, that was um... Random, and the best place to get stuff like that Lighthawk, is Ikea, never failed us yet, and our whole room is basically Ikea made.

We have an intern for the summer. They put her next to me. She has no phone, no computer and the person who she is supposed to be working with is out today. She is having a fun day. Off to lunch.

Yeah I did, so really all I can complain about is wasted time and effort, which is really all you can do about wasted time and effort, complain. And then move on.

Most of that pre-fab drek is useful only for supplying a bunch of raw materials in one box, with which you can actual put together your own thing. To try and follow the directions, they are invariably built to poor tolerances and incorrect specs.
