Got a call yesterday to report for testing. Got there and tried the physical and failed, though it maybe the flu I'm currently suffering or the huge handfuls of meds they gave me for it, I'm not totally sure which. BUT, I couldn't really do anything on the run five miles and give us a hundred pushups bit. So I thought they'd send me home, but no, instead they already knew about me being sick and just wanted to see if I was still motivated enough to try. Then they put me to some new kind of "logic/comprehension" test. Yeah, got an 84 which I thought was bad since years back anything below a 90 on anything was substandard. I get a funny look from folks in the office who inform me that you only have to score a 31 to pass...

...and now as of 21st October I'm on the USMC call up list for reserve support for 3rd Division...
