My brother taught me to type on a manual typewriter. Yeah I know, a hundred years ago.
We had an intern in our office a couple years ago, she was hand writing address on envelopes because we didn't have labels for the printer, the reason she wasn't typing them on the typewriter was "I don't know how to use a typewriter."

I have no idea how to use a typewriter....though it would be easier to use a computer....you only have to type out the addrss once then print out the number of envelopes you need.

She was using 9x12 manila envelopes that wouldn't fit in the printer. Since we didn't normally have mass mailing with that size envelopes, we didn't have labels. We would just type up the occasional envelope on the typewriter.

Yeah, but in general different mail recipients have different addresses.

Like the song says, "G-d bless the MTA."
Or something like that.

Thats ok, I called her this morning to say good morning. She didn't answer so I went to take a shower. While I was in the shower she called me 13 times because she thought I must have gotten hurt since I didn't answer right away. The calls didn't really bother me so much but her worrying about me getting hurt was funny... "Everything I've done and NOW you worry?!" kind of deal.

My brother has been in several serious accidents (he's a really reckless driver), never broken any bones. A few years back he broke his leg getting out of the shower.
