Update on Stitch & co's dad: His mom sent me text message, he has some kind of infection, my guess (and only a guess, I'm not a medical person) he was a little dehydrated, that's why he was shaky. Right now they are waiting for test results, but it doesn't look like its anything serious.

Serious enough, apparently.
I hope it's something minor.

Not serious enough to admit him to the hospital I meant, hopefully. I am a little frazzled. Princess has a class in the city tomorrow and Sunday and the three of us were supposed to be leaving early in the morning now its just the two of us and I certainly understand why her mom can't come now, but I don't know where the hotel is, I don't know where the class is, I don't know what time she has to be there and I am about to lose it. I've taken getting lost to an art form. One time I got on the subway going the wrong way, twice, in the same trip.

If you guys have a printer, mapquest can be invaluable.
Of course, there's no substitute for a natural sense of direction.

Yeah well, I don't have an address for where the school is, I don't know the name, I don't know the name of the hotel. I have no problem finding my way around Manhattan if I know the address. Even with no sense of direction.
I won't have my computer with me, too big and heavy to carry around, but I can google on my phone. I'll be all right, I just worry alot.

Hope things work out with that, and with their dad.
Next time your crew is in NYC, let CptPicardsHair and I know if you all wanted to meet up for drinks.

He's back home. It is an infection. By the time he had gotten to the hospital, he had a 102 degree fever. But he's ok right now.

Ouch
My turn. I woke up this morning and my hearing has almost completely packed up. I can hear things, but its a muffled echo. The closest way to describe it is when your sitting in a room with closed doors, and down the corridor you hear a muffled conversation.

Earwax buildup? That happened to me once. Pressed against the eardrum, and everything sounded like I was wearing earmuffs.
Hope you dad is ok. I'll keep him in my prayers.
Nick, PM me and tell me what the hell happened. Maybe we can come up with a solution.......who knows?

It could be. I'm a little more worried though, as both sides of the family have a history of hearing problems. My grandfather is deaf as a post, my dad has a torn eardrum and my uncle on mums side had an overgrown bone somewhere a long the line that caused him to be deaf.

Pardon the terminology used, but that sounds like what's going on with me, too. Everything's muffled. And my family doesn't have a history like that.
