My dad put an order in recently for his car to replace the delapidated old Focus that we've been keeping going, best car we;ve had. But she's hit what we regard as the "age wall" where things begin to go wrong (Although she got through her MOT) but we've been noticing an unnerving tappeting from the engine, the gearbox is getting a little...unresponsive and the steering is becomming increasingly heavy. So what has he replace it with...

Bah, the exams are starting on Wednesday, so I may not be around all that much for the next two or three weeks.

I saw the sun rise. I watched it reach across the bay and light the streets of the city. People started to stir about for their day. A few even came and stood next too me. It was like a scene out of a movie since there was even a song playing. "On and On" from Hackers and Mortal Kombat. No one really talked. We mostly just stood there. The rainbows were really clear. It all just seemed perfect.

Aye, we're getting some freakishly nice weather over here. It's gone all warm, and there's this bright glowing ball in the sky! What's happening? :worried:

I made some spicy dill pickles today, and in the process of stuffing the cucumbers in the jar as tight as they'd go, it occurred to me, this must be how porn stars feel; the stuffing, the funky smells, the loneliness of the last cucumber that doesn't quite make it into the jar, the fear that the jar might break, the pouring of the salty brine, the tinge of bitterness towards the over-touchy step-father when you were a teenager...

Well........good news all! I've finally got my internet hooked up at the new place, so I can STOP sneaking on at work! I'm seriously loving this living alone thing. You all were right, in that it can get lonely, BUT not picking up after other people, not having other people eat your food, or use your laundry soap and such is a HUGE plus!

BTW......my new place has a jacuzzi bath tub. How sweet is that?

Congratulations Lieutenant. Today is the last day for seniors here... but then I have 3 days of exams. The only one I'm exempt from is AP Euro.
Also, the home computer is still not fixed so after today, what with school ending and such, I'll probably disappear for a bit until it is. I don't have guaranteed constant access to a laptop.

Hope you guys have fun.

I got my new battery for my phone (that won't charge, so I have to go to the vzw store to replace it) and I will be getting Royal_Foxx's laptop when she gets a netbook, then getting Windows XP pro from my dad for free, and installing that. And then putting all my graphics design programs on there for working on it.

YAY for my life working out well for me, lol

I'm trying to talk my wife into getting me a netbook for Father's Day. Any idea if you can run other apps on them? I have notepad++ on a USB stick and unless I can run it on the netbook the comp is useless to me.
