Yeah, they tried that with the storm, and failed, miserably.

But I love touch screen, because I like to press where I want to go, rather than use buttons to navigate to it.

perhaps learning styles come into it. Maybe Kinesthetic learners prefer touching and pressing the sceen, where as visual prefer seeing a natural progression of menu's after using a keypad.

I like my Samsung Glyde.

I'm also a bit of a company snob cause my family have been through so many phones, we could fill a county's worth of Phones4u stores. And the only 3 brands that havent failed us on multiple occasions are Apple, Sony Ericsson and Nokia.

I bet you say that to all the boys. :P

Anyway, I usually don't have a problem with the speed of the virtual keyboard on the Dare, and TBH - I really just like the look of the full-length touch-screen. Plus, it has a neat-o inset window for surfing, so I can just click right to any location of a non-optimized webpage.

How does that saying go? Cheaters never prosper, unless Deepcrush is said cheater... Is Left 4 Dead an FPS? Which system are you using? Call me crazy, but I still prefer old SNES games. I even took up the hobby of customizing Super Mario World. There's an amazing editor that people do amazing things with.

I can't quite afford the ridiculous arms race between Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and the PC... And for a long time it's felt like the consumers were just kindof stuck in the middle, and pretty undervalued in the whole industry.

EDIT: Not saying you were cheating. Just that if you ever decided to, something tells me you'd pull it off.

It takes a few mins to get used to the touch screen. At first most people start by hitting near to the key so they can still see it. This is a mistake as you end up hitting the wrong key. Once you learn to not do this you can go really fast.

Happy hour @ Brooklyn Brewery, then a block up, there's this beer bar (forget the name of it) that has 250 beers. The best part was $25 tab at that bar, even though I ordered about $80 worth of beer. Pays looking like Mark Teixeira in NY I guess =)

Some (like the Dare) also allow you to "center" the contact points based on your particular style, so even if you tend to hit keys off-center, you can still make it recognize what you're doing.
