It's not you. It isn't funny. It's interesting how the two news stations market their breaking news. Fox does it the right way, where you look at this and go "WTF," and you're going to click it. They know how to market news. CNN just gives it away, and maybe you'll click it.

Is it clever marketing, really, though? Or is it a reflection of the estimation each station has of their subscriber's attention span and reading level?

Fox News has far better ratings... sadly.
