Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Anyone remember a couple of days ago how I mentioned that the key to the communications room in the school where I work at was stolen? Well, a bunch of students used it to hi-jack the PA system this morning. They get full points for style, though, as they started playing the music from that scene in The Shawshank Redemtpion where the protagonist took over the prison's PA system. I found that hilarious, though I doubt the principal did.

Hm... that's not bad. We're trying to plan our senior prank. I may have to borrow that...Rochey wrote:Anyone remember a couple of days ago how I mentioned that the key to the communications room in the school where I work at was stolen? I hate computers.
From noon today to 7PM, I was trying to stabilize my system enough to back up files. That failed, and I spent the last 2 and three quarter hours formatting my hard drive and restoring what I could save.
"Why don't you go work on computers, Preston?"
This is why.

Nope. They managed to flee the scene before any of the staff realised what had happened and hurried over there.

I'll be in New York City for the next three days to visit family (and see "Avenue Q"), so I don't think I'll be able to post. If there's a FTF signup thread, sign me up for it.
