Thanks. I will try these tonight.
Adblock eliminates something like 95%+ of the ads you see. It's literally night and day when you use it. It's bad enough that a lot of advertisers are desperate to try and find a way to "outlaw" it.
No Scripts is a royal pain in the ass when you start using it. You just have to let it know which sites you visit to trust. A lot of the ads that adblock misses it kills.

Aye, I can testify to the effectiveness of AdBlock Plus too; I have it installed at home. Just add the proper "subscriptions" in the AdBlock setup window, and that provides a whole list of servers AdBlock will block. Also, you can right-click on anything that gets through and add it to the blocked list from the right-click menu.

Cool, thanks guys, I asked my father about it (he owns a computer store) but it usually takes him a few weeks to get back to me, I'm not a paying customer you know, just his daughter

I got someone to join, because he saw the new trek movie and wants to play the wargames, lol. He should sign up soon, and then I'll shoot Ian and Graham a PM to activate it, lol, and we'll have one more member.

I installed the Adblock and was still getting the pop-up but not the annoying noise that was coming with them, so I added the other 'No Scripts' and so far no pop-ups. I will probably have a problem when I go to my work portal since they have a lot of popups, like our e-mail program and time sheet.
When I first went to my blog a lot of things didn't show up, couldn't figure it out at first, then I realized . . .
Any way, thanks for the links. 8)

I f'n hate immobile referees who refuse to stop f'n reffing!
we just lost a game 0-1 because the f'n AR called a goal after the ball bounced off the crossbar when he was on the f'n 25 yardline (30-35 yards from the goal)!

sorry, but I needed someplace to blow off a little steam.....I'm so pissed right now.
