He was indeed - I recall a couple of debates involving the NHS, and the "liberal bias" of the US media. He's the sort of character who doesn't think FOX's motto is the puchline to a bad joke.

To add to the main list is an argument I got on spacebattles once, that Borg drones must have KE shields, because two of them survived atmospheric reentry after the sphere was destroyed in FC, to be recovered in "Regeneration". It was vehemently insisted that the fact that they were inside an enormous lump of ship couldn't have had anything to do with it.

Unfortunately SB seems to have eaten the thread.
