Actually I could see that breaking into the mainstream if it hasn't Tsu.
And so far Mikey has the "most obscure" award.
Anyway a song you might have heard part of.

It was fairly popular a few years ago; I still hear it on the radio occasionally (when I actually bother to listen to the damn radio).
You want obscure? Try
this. Mike Patton rules!
I think they they should play music like that in mental hospitals. It really fits the mood.
EDIT: speaking of music they should play in mental hospitals...

I love that movie.

Here's a nice reality check for anyone with intellect, and a great song to boot.

mmmm... Amy Lee...
Mike Patton does indeed rule - Mr. bungle, Killing Joke, FNM all rock.
Now for something completely different - here's a little clip of one of the most underrated, greatest drummers ever, Gene Krupa. I couldn't find a decent full-length clip of Louis Prima's "Sing, Sing, Sing" from the 1938 Benny Goodman Carnegie Hall concert - featuring Harry James, Teddy Wilson, Lionel Hampton, Ziggy Elman and the amazing
froelich trumpet, and Krupa with an amazing solo - but here's a pretty awesome clip from the old Sammy Davis, Jr. show:

One of the great, seminal American punk bands - and one of my faves by them.

Shirley Manson. She's at the top of my list of women that my wife would have to let me have, and not consider it cheating or anything. She may not be the most classically beautiful, but she exudes an aura of charisma and sensuality that is second to none. Plus, her voice is SO smoky and sexy. She even makes a Scottish accent sound hot. Am I obsessed? I think I'm obsessed...

This thread has been fun, I've liked a lot of stuff you guys linked and I'd never heard it before.
I should probably add something.
Well here, it's mainstream enough you may have heard it especially in the UK, but in case you haven't

Bit of trivia the song was origionally called "It's There" but I guess some Brits including Shaun Ryder who is collaborating as the head don't pronounce "there" right and everyone hears it as "dare".
and of course

I love the Gorillaz! One of my favorite bands. I also love their videos.
EDIT:
This is my favorite song by them.

I like some Gorillaz stuff. Feel Good Inc is more mainstream in the UK.

I found
this rather amusing, especially the scene borrowed from First Contact.

Oh, this went around a while ago but in case you missed it.

I think the band behind that, TISM, has kind of fizzled out now though.
EDIT. Anybody know anything about who might be the singer for this?

Hey! Welcome to the thread Kendal. And yeah. "related video" has a "make out version" you might like.
Also I'm finding myself occasionally going back to watch "goodbye sobre day" that one was really different and good.
Oh and another "in case you missed the meme" one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA
On that note a bunch of people who were in popular videos apperantly actually cashed in getting to be in a Weezer vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muP9eH2p2PI
If you don't know Weezer this was a bit more popular.
