I spent over an hour yesterday trying to get a stuck breach plug out of a rifle. I finally had to use a vise I borrowed off a friend, a tonne of WD-40, a ratchet and a hammer. I slathered so much lube on it when I put it back in that the socket was totally covered. If that bitch gets stuck like that again, it can stay in!

Classic flintlocks don't have them IIRC, our next one definitely will not.
