I know the feeling. Somebody had to google "He-Man" today because they didn't know what the hell I was talking about.

I was buying beer at the convenience store, there was a sign up that said, 'We check ID on everybody'. The clerk didn't ask to see my I.D.

If it makes you feel any better, even though they're supposed to check I.D. for groups (as far as i know) when I go in with my dad they don't card me. Also, this summer I was working with children in the cities summer park program, and for my age they had a wide range of guesses (these were late elementary to early middle-school aged children. about 9-12/13 for the most part) such as: 37, 54, 99, 29 and others. .... I'm 19.

Before I was 21 I was never ever carded. In fact I was able to walk into bars (the ones that don't check IDs at the front door) and order a beer. At the time it was great. But now...

Same here, I wasn't carded until I was 21... of course my ID was expired so I was SOL.

Lol. That would have sucked, turn 21 and can't even use your ID. Hell I was hoping to get carded on my 21st birthday. Never did.

Hell, those signs that say if you look like you're under 40-something (or even older) they'll card you. Well I hardly ever carded then too. I'm only 26. Not aging gracefully I guess.

On the (rare) occasions that I get carded, I usually thank the barman.

Any comments section. Yahoo News' comments section proves that the internet has become far too easy to use.
