I just got threatened with physical violance

This dumb bitch calls in and wants the service light on her car reset, but doesn't want to have the actual service done. I explained we can't do that. She starts yelling, swearing, and screaming at me. I try to explain it would be illegal. She starts telling me that she bought a warranty. I again try to explain that unless we do the service, deactivating that light is against policy, and the law.

So, her boyfriend gets on. He tells me I need to do what she wants, or he'll come down here and discuss it with me, "man to man." I offer to get the service manager on the line, but now he's in tough guy mode.

I invited his dumb ass to come on down and visit me. They're in Kona on the Big Island. I'm in Honolulu, on Oahu. Hope the schmuck has a nice swim.

Honestly, with all of the frustrating things going on in your life of late, Mark, it might be relaxing to have a real excuse to pummel someone.

True, but I'd say they picked the wrong guy.

Good thing for them it was over the phone.

My guess is that the guy was willing to talk so tough because he was across a phone line a/o a body of water, and not face-to-face.

Well guys, you called it. I lost it yesterday, and good god did it feel nice.

As I mentioned, I bought a car. Because we only have one stall in our building, my roommate pays extra to park there (he's a carpenter and keeps his tools in his car, so he needs a safe place to put them.), thus I have to find street parking. I'm walking to my car yesterday and this tweeked out chronic (in Hawaiian terms, someone on either crack or meth) comes charging up to me, screaming that I parked in his space. I politely pointed out that this is the street, and you can't reasonably expect to have a "parking space", that's not marked by the state. He got in my face, all jittery and starting with the racial slurs (I THINK he was some sort of pacific islander), called me a fucking haole (a term referring to non islanders but generally applied to white people. Depending on the tone, its much akin to calling a black person the "N" word).

So, now he's screaming at me, with spittle flying in my face, racially insulting me, and I'm pissed off. But it gets better.

He pushed me.

I snapped without really thinking (my only thought was gratitude for giving me an excuse). I hit him with a right jab to the place between his nose and mouth (I missed his nose), a left hook to the ear, then a right cross to the chin. He fell into the garbage by the curb. One of the upstairs tenants of the building I parked at start yelling "WTF is going on?" So I yell up, "This fucker is trying to rob me".

I guess this guy is known at that building, and took off when the guy upstairs said he's calling the cops. All I got was a weak love tap to the cheek, and a punch in the shoulder.

But now, I'm gonna have to park my car somewhere else.

Oh well, you can't win'em all I guess

It's always nice when a suitable target presents itself.

But, yeah, man. Watch your car.

Nope, that was just the order of the hits. To be honest, I was trying to give him a straight Karate punch to the nose, to end it with one shot. He moved a bit, and I forgot to really take into account his movement, hence the ugly combo.

I wouldn't call it 'ugly' per se. Well, what the end result was ugly. But meh. Still good results.
