CM Punk's learned that WWE's structure was better for him than AEW's anarchy. He's got a point to prove to that promotion. Triple H is the boss, he has business to attend to, a new TV deal to sell, possibly to TNT/TBS. He's got experience with Punk, he knows what will push Punk's buttons and recognizes that Punk is the best way to get a fat, lucrative TV deal. The decade since has mellowed them both out.

The latest rumors are that WWE are negotiating with WBD (Warner Bros Discovery) who own TBS and TNT. Raw is the program that's up for a new deal. Can you imagine that? Raw on TBS, two decades after winning the Monday Night War?
