Is it wrong that my alarm goes off in forty minutes and I still haven't gone to bed?

Wrong?... no. Sucky? Yes.
And, I'm off to bed...

Hmm. Add a flying green chili, a flying ancho chili, and some vinegar, and you've got the start of one hell of a topping for a flying cheeseburger.

Why do you think they keep prying our gutters loose?

If mornings came later what would we sleep through until noon?

I'd be perfectly happy to sleep through noon until afternoon, if it meant we could do away with mornings.

But without mornings, what would we be staying up through until the crack of dawn?

"Time is an illusion... lunchtime doubly so."
It does matter if you get rid of what we now call mornings, there will still be 24 hours in a day. Let's say we do away with mornings. You get up at about 1:00 pm; go to work for the same 8 hours, so you get out around 9 pm. Then you still want your dinner and evening, so you go to bed at about the equivalent of 4 am. Still only 9 hours for your evening toilet, sleeping, morning toilet, S-S-S, and morning commute.

So your position is that even if we eliminated mornings, they'd still exist in spirit.
Now I'm grouchy

I was having a good week... then the department manager for health/beauty aids decided she needed some product ready. Okay, that's not too bad.
Except the little moron decided to create a two
long lists, the second one less than an hour before my shift ended. She screwed me over in getting the rest of my tasks done. Not. Happy.
