Indeed, my PC has been randomnly shutting down and giving me the BSOD. Which turns out was caused by a frakked up file in Vista (or so the log tells me). So I'm still backing up (19 DVDs) and hopefully I get to do the restore today.

That and the mysterious grinding noise that started thius morning. Looks like she's dead, the backup crapped out and when I restored to factory settings it runs really, really, really slow. I honestly can't be arsed to do more so I'm putting it in the basement and I'll hook up the PS3 to the monitor and surf from that.
