I think its her class of ship, its a Chinese name. Oh...Green Ships are Alliance ships, and Gray Ships are Imperial.

They seem unfinished.

Knowing absolutely nothing about that universe I take a shot in the dark and assume that the Imperials (with names like Königstiger etc.) are the bad guys?

Neither are the bad guys. The true villains are the Earth Cult who has been manipulating the war, mostly the politicians in the Alliance to continue the war.

Does the front end of that konigstiger remind anyone else of a direct "borrow" from Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers?

Looks a bit like like it.

Interesting designs though. I can see where the earlier comment about being shaped like Rifles comes from, but I sorta like it. I prefer the smooth designs on the top of the first image however.
