If you could switch it to free floating with low friction it wouldnt be to bad.

From what we found, the mass of the rider would be the dominant mass and would overwhelm the mass of the flywheel (no more than a few kg was needed at sufficient RPM). However, our concept wasn't really for long distances but for a boost at certain times; as to the hill thing, there's another force at work besides extra weight: the friction between the flywheel and its axle which would rob energy while being the flywheel was charged, while it was spinning freely, and while it was being discharged also, so it's clear from the start that the thing couldn't get up another hill of the same height without extra energy input.

Another technical challenge would have been the gyroscopic precession of the flywheel, though this is solvable with two flywheels spinning in opposite directions.

Aye, its at the point that we are poised to move school again. But...i'll try to pull through.

Thankfuly, I never actualy had to go through that problem. Primarily because I was the chief source of homework in a school with notoriously strict teachers. Most of the assholes amongst the student population knew that having me come to any harm would be rather counter-productive, as they'd have no one else to copy the homework off, resulting in them being in deep shit.
Looking back on it, now, it was a pretty funny situation. They hated me and I despised them, yet we had a sort of alliance of necessity. I'd let them copy my homework before school started, and in return they'd make sure no one bothered me. Pretty sweet deal from my POV.

I only let girls copy my work.

The guys; I never relented to intimidation. Which is probably why I ended up scheduled to fight the entire football team; years later, I found out my mom had called the police about it, and that's why they didn't show up.

Good thing, that. The law generally frowns on people bashing athletes with baseball bats.

Very nice.

I had a problem in elementary school all the way until 9th grade. Then they found out my mother worked in the main office and the principal loved me. Problems ended.
