Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
idk what it was, but I've been out for the last week/week and a half. I only have IE7, and it wouldn't load, from either here or school. (at school I used IE7 and Firefox)
The main site loaded fine, however I couldn't access the Forum from the e-mail notification links, directly typing in the url, or going through the main page...it was incredibly frustrating.
Some of you may have seen my desperate attempt to communicate in the Caption Comp.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I put a gag about it in the caption comp too. And I was trying IE7 and 8, and had the same issue.

And I haven't had any trouble at all.

Neither.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Okay, seems we're all back in action.
I PMed Ian asking about it, and apparently the ban-list went screwy and started crashing the site for some of us, depending on our usual IPs and browsers, which explains why I was able to get in on Wednesday when I was using my brother's computer.

Weird with a capital We!
Anywho, it's Mrs. K's 30th birthday weekend so it's matching tattoos, BBQ, rifle ordering craziness this weekend! I'm not to crazy about having twenty people (and kids *sigh*) in my house but it's only for a few hours and I can take refuge next to the BBQ.

It was so annoying trying to get on this week. At least things are sorta back to normal.

I couldn't get on either, I mailed graham (who told me to talk to Ian cause he knows technical stuff ) but all is right with the world again. I was having withdrawl symptoms, I haven't spent so much time online without reading this stuff in years! I do have a life ,such as it is, but I did miss the random crazyness that is DITL.
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

I sent an e-mail to GK, (at least I think I did, i went throught the "E-mail me" button on the main site.) and made a post in the caption comp, I was desperate to get back, and what was worse is I knew that for some reason I was the only one off, b/c I kept getting the topic reply notifications

About the glitch. And yes, I e-mailed GK too about getting reply notifications but not being able to get on. And I tried getting on the forum from four different addresses, including my phone, and couldn't get anything.Lt. Staplic wrote:well, I'm just glad it's over.

Though, I've found Valerian root works well for my panic attacks, so I don't need Xanax anymore.
