We got rear-ended this afternoon at a stop sign by some poor 17 year old kid (pimples and all), when I got out of the car I thought he was going to shit himself. Anyways, the only damage was to the bumper which now has the imprint of the top of his license plate holder. So I got his info and went home, told him to take it easy cause it was his first accident and he was pretty shook up.

that was nice of you.

I understand that, but seriously it's not like most of it isn't common sence. If you fail the entry exam they must be thinking your stupid enough you'll walk onto base thinking it's an invasion and start shooting people.

The entrance exam isn't actually an exam but a series of interviews coupled with a written test that evaluates a bunch of skills from reasoning (making three-dimensional shapes out of an unfolded box) to mechanical knowledge to plain old math. So it's quite possible to flunk out even if you possess a decent amount of IQ, just admitting your a racist will do it.
that was nice of you.
Thanks.

Yeah, it's not the "walk in, sign form walk out in uniform" cliche anymore.

I imagine it'll happen sooner or later, pretty sure everyone has at least one. But it's definitely better to be on the receiving end.

OK, Son of a !@!$%%@#$. I just found out that one of the letters of recommendation from my professor never got sent to one of the two schools I haven't heard from yet. So... Unless they don't care about that 1 stupid GD letter from my professor, I'm probably out of that one too. It was my fault, btw, not the professor's because I had way too much to do in way too short a period of time. Let this be a lesson: Don't procrastinate! Get stuff done way ahead of time. Finish so early that it bothers people. (I'll save you the trouble Tsu - that's NOT what she said.)
I was so pissed off, I immediately bought myself an Oreo milkshake, and started listening to my favorite music. Now I feel SOO much better. SO WHAT. LIFE GOES ON, right? And it's been a while since I've had such a positive experience with music, which is tragic since it's supposed to be my career and all. Now I think I'll take my dog for a walk.

Sorry to hear that Grundig. I'd write you a letter of recommendation, but it would be useless. Hope to hear good news soon though. I'm sure you'll get in at the other one, maybe even at this one...

Same here, Grundig. My letter would probably be followed by a "Who the f*** is this?"
Anyway, very decent of you, Kendall. Many people in this world probably would have scared the piss out of the kid just for the heck of it.
As to the army entrance qualifiers - I know my opinion wasn't helped by more than one private I know who explained to me the true purpose of the soft cap: to pull down over your eyes so you can sleep in class.

I've been told I'm tone deaf on more than one occation, so I'm probably not a good candidate for a LOR to a Musical Doctorate program
btw, could you pm me the curse you started off your post with, I used up my vocab and couldn't get the letter-symbol ratio to match.

It certainly doesn't match in Klingon or Mandalorian (
).

question, do I need to have a psych analysis if when ever I read Stitch's posts I hear the words in that little obnoxious voice from the movie?

Lilo and Stitch, I think.
It wasn't a real word - more like the more symbols I use, the more pissed I am.
