well the good news is my grandfather came through surgery ok and is resting comfortably. Ended up being a QUINTUPLE bypass, but if it aint broke don't fix it, lol.

I also saw 36CrazyFists @ Manchester Academy Last night, was hilarious. Singer invites a kid up onto the stage to join him in singing, and as he gets up he takes out the bassist's mic stand, LOL.

We also had to help some muppet push start his car, and the guy just drove off and didn't say thank you or anything!?!?! Harsh.

anyone ever notice how this thread shifts back and forth between "sorry to hear that" and "congradulations" news almost instinctively?

More soorry to hear that from me.

And my throat has gone sore from singing, i guess. the carmina Burana is sometimes quite a bitch to sing. (Read: Shout.)

I guess you mean it's a program you've been performing? Have you been singing the entire cantata, or just the usual mass-marketing version of "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi?"

The entire piece, and the actual performance has yet to happen. 26 days to recover and to memorise the In Taberna.

I'm sure that P.I. he hired to follow you around helps with that.
