I've spent the last five weeks doing everything I possibly could to be ready for this and make sure that Cardassia really was just that strong. Let me put it to you this way, if you'd waited a week you wouldn't have even made it across the border baring a complete miracle.

If I were a neutral power, I wouldnt bother. Take you for example. You could cause some damage in the Federation territory near you if you wanted, and oh look, the ever present spectre of the Klingon Empire sits a few lightyears away. Your screwed. Same for the Romulans within reason, especially since they are in transition. Really, only the Ferengi are of any use at the moment and they wont fight either race.

Yeah, I have no OOC doubts that Tyyr will someday take whatever assistance I give him and use it to plunge a knife into my back. He after all is Cardassian. But as the Federation I will have to go along blind, deaf and dumb to that possiblity.

I am actually SHOCKED people are comparing the way BIG and I play the Federation. Admittedly we both (successfully and correctly) play the Federation in it's 'roll' as the moral high-ground (mostly) but the way the two of us have gone about that are almost PI*! it's just really funny that we're being compared as the same.

*I was thinking about how people use the term 180 to refer to complete opposites due to 180* is opposite 0. I find it somewhat discriminatory that no one uses radians, therefore I have started referring to opposites as being PI.

that is true, what BIG says, BIG does. Not so much now but in the early days of the SIM I was much more of a live-and-let-live personality to your face, while I made sure you'd regret the day you stepped out of line at home.

Okay, there has been some confusion (mostly among the warring parties) about how the 3 month turns work, so here's how this will happen.

When the spreadsheet is turned in I will credit you 3 months worth of ship production AND THAT IS IT. So that means that your AM levels your finances all of that will remain unchanged when you turn it in this year because all of that is calculated annually. Any loans/deals for AM/or ore or any internal improvement you put on your ship will not be messed with and will still be there when you get it back. I will turn over finances for the year, AM for the year, population and everything else that is normally changed after the 4th week of this (when we will have completed a year)

Also, all changes in starship procurement must happen by the beginning of the year (so this Spreadsheet submission) after this, until the start of the next year YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT. We're going by the honor system so please don't be that guy. ESPECIALLY since if I do find out that you changed it halfway through the year bad things will happen. Exploding Spacedocks and Space ship defects type of bad things.
