I got a letter from one of the other local secondary schools, Brune park community college, Today. Opened it...low and behold...I'm guaranteed a place on the diploma course! :D What i like was it was addressed to me not to my parents. And it was sent completely independent of my home school

I'm well chuffed! :D

Congrats Reliant! I'm waiting for colleges to get back to me here in the US... 2/5 have been rejections so far, but I'm applying to music doctoral schools, and they tend to be more picky than other schools i've applied to. Not looking forward to entering the job market AT ALL. It's my own fault for majoring in music and then getting a grad degree in music. Still... in a better market, it wouldn't be scaring me nearly as much.

Damn.... haven't been on here in a while... mainly because i couldn't read the computer screen

So last saturday (the 22nd) i'm sitting in a local burger place (5 Guys Burgers and Fries) on a tall barstool like seat having lunch with my girl and them for no reason i passed out. then fell out of the chair and broke the fall using my face. i woke up a second later confused, bleeding, and in a bit of pain... after a short stay in the ER and the hospital the doctors had no idea why i passed out and released me to my family doctor and after a week of tests they found nothing... so asside from having double vision from having a concusion i feel fine, the doctors set me up with a pair of glasses to correct the double vision... in addition looks like i need glasses anyway...

and if that wasn't bad enough i had an MRI and my famly doctor noticed some "spots" 3 of them to be exact, very small that he doen't know what they are, they may be nothing (hoping they are nothing) but he is sending me to a neurologist...

So today is my forst day back to work and naturally its snowing like a mother here in jersey now and i woke up to about 6 inches of the white stuff.... in the plus side the 2006 F-150 i just bought before all this BS happened handled the snow like it wasn't even there.

as i'm not in your boat, i can't say anything without it sounding insincere or patronising, but you do have my genuine well wishes

Hope that's nothing serious, Kevsha. With luck it's just a goof on behalf of the MRI machine. Nothing's ever so perfect it can't screw up once in a while.

Reliant:
Congratulations, that's good to hear. Though I'd always assumed you were already in secondary school. :)

well yeah :P shhhh
as i explained, i have to go to another school for this course. this meaning going to my schools biggest rival school. I'm glad i get a special uniform. A single blue bridgemary uniform, amongst a sea of Maroon Brune park would not be nice. specially since there are frequent "Student wars" between the schools.

Ugh. Medical uncertainty can be really unpleasant. Hope things are ok, Kevsha.

true but even ''medical certainty'' has its limits, some of britains' finest cardiologists expected my dad to be dead two years ago, and although clearly he is on a very limited wick of the candle now, they were wrong, and i'm sure that your case won't be as serious, but my point is that whatever you're told isn't necessarily totally conclusive
