My condolences Mikey.
Its times like that that i desperately want to help the cemetery. The last one i went to, where my Great Nan Peggy was buried....never met her...i really wish i could sometimes....anyway, it was pretty run down. My grandad payed huge amounts of ,oney (like double the money of his Cortina that he had) to get a really posh stone set down. Shame its in disrepair now. But...It was quite a moment leaving the bundle of flowers, the bundle that I put together from flowers from my other grandads home.

Thanks, all. He'd been rather ill for a while with various nasty things, but seemed to be somewhat on the mend... but as my aunt rather philosophically said, "We plan - and G-d laughs." It's sad for us who are left, but at least for my uncle it was an end to a period of some suffering, and a condition of life to which he was unaccustomed, and which didn't suit the man he had been.

I have a crick in my back right now that's killing me. Seems to be one of those things you get when you sleep "wrongly" since I just noticed it this morning. It's in the upper right back just inside of the shoulder blade; the cold weather probably doesn't help. Anything I can do except try to rest it and wait for it to heal?

I get that all the time (side effect of dislocation). try to let your arm hang and let gravity just pull it down, it'll help a little, other than that you just have to wait.
Sorry to hear about your uncle Mikey, I hope you got to see some reletives you don't normally get to, that is one good thing about deaths, they tend to bring your family a little closer, at least for a time.

As some may have noticed I've been away again, another working holiday, although far more work than holiday unlike last time.
Unfortuantly now I have a fucktonne of work to catch up on and probably wont be on to much for the next weekish as well.

Well I'm on strike today, oh I feel almost french
Gov't doing pay cut stuff to us, we give out, it'll happen anyway but I'm a member of the union so I got to do my picket duty between 12-2pm
Despite the fact it'll prob happen anyway I still think we should make some noise about it, I mean why should we have to pay to bail out the law dodging banks, I know I'm lucky to have a job but it makes me annoyed when you see what some of those bastards get away with. Ireland's financial regulator is useless, it was like a fig leaf stuck on to make the little guys feel like some one cared but in reality was a distraction while we got robbed.
Rant over. Now I go wave a placard at people who don't care.

Government pay cuts? Well there's a fucking surprise. Is there
anyone those idiots
didn't hit with their retarded budget?
Other than themselves, of course.

On the bright side, Fianna Fail (misspelling deliberate) has pretty much pissed away any chance of winning the next elections. I've not got a clue who's going to get put in charge instead, but hopefully it'll be someone with some brains.
At the very least, get rid of that eedjit of a Teaoiseach.

By any chance, would your slogan be "Down with this sort of thing!" ?

Careful now
It was very boring and rather dull, one disgruntled visitor when they found out the public office was closed did accelerate her car slightly towards me as I was crossing, on a a pedestrian crossing, across an internal road on our office ground. I just gave her a dirty look. Apparently I wasn't the only one who it happened to/ The woman it happened to also is scheduled to work the public desk tomorrow and I can guess that if the guy who did it to her comes to her he's going to get put to the bottom of the pile

So I don't suppose you boys want Bush now that he's wrecked our country and retired. Hell, we'll GIVE him away.
