Yeah, but they just don't do it for me, you know? I want a toy I can sink my teeth into, among other parts of my anatomy

Yeah, but we don't have that technology.Blackstar the Chakat wrote:The F is for Field, the Emergency Medical Field Hologram. Like how I created that mobile holo-emitter thing(a larger 24th century equivilent to Voyager's Doctor's 29th century Mobile emitter) for the Daystrom's original EMH(before Talora stole her/hir/he). Basically an improved version of that system that allows an EMH to reach areas without holo-emitters, like on the ship or on the surface of a planet, possibly making the Mobile Emitter system standard equipment on shuttlecraft, so that medical personel don't have to tag-along on missions. It's a logical evolution of the technology.Mikey wrote: Anyway, the EMH (or EMFH - what's the "F?")

Teaos i don't know if mods have a thread bumper ability on this forum but you might want to bump all the gamma character posts or sticky them or something once the gamma mission actually begins.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Well, Blackstar created a mobile emitter for the original EMH. Something that shi could've sold the design to the federation to make a tidy profit. Starfleet R&D could improve on itMikey wrote:Yeah, but we don't have that technology.Blackstar the Chakat wrote:The F is for Field, the Emergency Medical Field Hologram. Re: Gamma Mission Prep
But it never made sense for Blackstar to have been able to do it. Best to just leave it as a one-off.Blackstar the Chakat wrote:Well, Blackstar created a mobile emitter for the original EMH. Hey Mark, I liked the interview. In fact, I think all your characters are pretty cool.
The only problem is that my name IRL is Mark too, and I'm getting way more confused than I should.

Ugh. I am thoroughly confused about where my character is, and I'm sure its my fault. For the record, it doesn't matter to me where he is, as long as he's Ops.
I'm going to add a second character for myself, on the Pegasus.

Good idea, I'll sticky them once Beta is finished.Teaos i don't know if mods have a thread bumper ability on this forum but you might want to bump all the gamma character posts or sticky them or something once the gamma mission actually begins.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
And break them all down by ship. That seems to work well with the Daystrom. Just for orginasational purposes.Teaos wrote:Good idea, I'll sticky them once Beta is finished.Teaos i don't know if mods have a thread bumper ability on this forum but you might want to bump all the gamma character posts or sticky them or something once the gamma mission actually begins.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Ok people you have two days to make a final post in Beta mission if you want to and to get up any information on gamma you want in. A few still need to update their profiles, it only takes a few minutes.

Re: Gamma Mission Prep
Will be see some finalized stats for all of the ships in question, reflecting 20 years of upgrades before we start, or just kind of feel along as we go? For the USS Paladin, though, do we have anything concreate yet, like top warp, crew compliment, etc?? Sorry if this is reduntent. My first RP on the forum, and I'd like to get it going right.
