Hmm. I can only imagine the sort of damage one could do with a paper spindle.

Re: Delta Mission Comments and Discussion
So do we have more of a backstory for the dear Commodore .. erm, Admiral? You know, since the Ravage captain was in SI, we could always through in a passing reference to him having seen Grayling's record ... his entire record (yes, I realize this means I am implying there is more to what is known about an officer than just the standard officer bio) -- Could provide some sort of potentially embarrasing backstory?
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

If anyone wants to write a "Got the band back together again" piece feel free -- or freely discussing their opinions of Admiral Greyling and Commodore S'koll is also an option

Re: Delta Mission Comments and Discussion
I was playing Mass Effect 2 last night, and I thought we may try something. I'm going to open a thread for IC game communications between characters and ships. It will give characters a chance to interact w\o a full post.
For example
To: Captain Fletcher, USS Paladin
Captain Lewis, USS Ravage
Captain W'Trisk, USS Daystrom
From: Admiral Greyling, Operations Commander, Sector 1121
We have received a distress call from the USS Enterprise. At last report, it was surrounded by a hostile force of Pakled ships, and was being boarded by Ferengi marines. Proceed with all haste to assist.
This will allow me to gently nudge things in the right direction. Or allow character interaction such as
To: Captain W'Trisk
From: Captain Fletcher
Did you really have to break the Admiral's teeth, Mikey?
And so forth.
We'll have some common sense rules. You obviously only send a message from one of your characters, OR from an NPC to one of your characters. So, Sonic can send messages as Captain Lewis to whoever he wants all day long, but can only use an NPC to send a message to Lewis. He couldn't for example, mark a message from Commander Sinclair to Captain Lewis, but could mark one from Commodore S'koll to Captain Lewis.
Use your common sense here. This will be a public record so we can all keep up, but IC your characters aren't going to be privy to private communications, unless the message states "please advise your crew" or some such, assume your characters don't know.

Re: Delta Mission Comments and Discussion
Ok, again..........if you said your gonna play, I ask you to play. Even if you can only kick in a couple of paragraphs at a time, please gang. Right now, Mikey and I are like the primary players here, with only 2 or 3 others even posting.
Our players said they wanted to relaunch the next mission, but contribution is minimal.
We're going to hang around the station until just after New Years, then we're going to embark on the mission proper. If you haven't AT LEAST posted once, please do so. If you need help with character ideas, creation, subplots, or ANYTHING.......just say so.

I have been struggling with writers block and am open to suggestions. I've no idea what to do with myself in all honesty.

I was planning on bringing your characters along on our little confab to - as George Bush would say - "strategerize."Reliant121 wrote:I have been struggling with writers block and am open to suggestions. I've no idea what to do with myself in all honesty.

Re: Delta Mission Comments and Discussion
I was considering both Biggles and D'Tyra, but that's up to you. It would make sense to include my lead pilot; it would be pretty easy to rationalize including D'Tyra as well, if you want.Reliant121 wrote:That all characters, or specific ones?
