I suppose that might work. For whatever reason, he seemed to age at a human pace from the 2260s to the 2290s, but then he didn't seem to age at all until the 2360s. :P

T'Pau was born in 2122, making her 145 years old in "Amok Time."

In the "I had no idea..." category, "T'Pau" was the name of a British pop music band formed in 1986. I love their song "Heart and Soul..."

One of the band members, I believe the drummer, was a huge star trek fan. he suggested the name, and they agreed. Dad told me from somewhere...

When "Heart and Soul" came out in 1987, the first time I heard the name of the band I said, "Naw...it can't be..." Turns out it WAS...

Sorry, just got to this.

Aside from the well known Weyoun and Shran, Combs has played :

Quark's nemesis Brunt of the FCA in Deep Space Nine.

The Mirror Universe version of Brunt in "The Emperor's New Cloak".

Tiron, a one off alien in another DS9 episode. He's the guy who wanted a hologram of Kira.

Krem, one the the Ferengi raiders in the Enterprise episode "Acquisition".

Penk, the Tsunkatse boss guy in the the Voyager episode "Tsunkatse".

Officer Kevin Mulkahey in DS9's "Far Beyond the Stars" (bit of a cheat that one, but I count it.)

Quite the resume!

a Jeffrey Coombs with two Os died in 9/11 and the fans thought it was Jeffrey Combs so the deluged his family with letters and cards.

Acording to Manny Coto, Shran was going to join the crew of Enterprise for the fifth season of ENT.

Yet another reason that Coto should have held the reins from the start.

I'm not sure I like the idea joining the crew, unless it was as a liaison officer and he was treated as such. The NX-01 was meant to be a human ship - it shouldn't have had aliens on it any more than a modern warship has foreign military personnel as part of the crew.

Based on the closer relationship the crew seemed to have shown with Andorians than with Vulcans, it makes more sense than having T'Pol as a regular crewmember.

Though, I doubt I'd enjoy the underwear scenes as much...

Actually I'd say its the other way round - at least the Vulcans are long-established allies (albeit a bunch of assholes).

I said "the crew," not "humanity" or "Starfleet at large."
