Well, my main concern is the bridge, since there are two possible places for it to be. Since some of the bridge views have the bow of the ship visable while others don't. Some think there are even two bridges that are used interchangably for one reason or another. Although having two identicle fully functional bridges is just good planning.

Indeed. Planning that is somewhat undone by the fact they're both so exposed.

Ah, so that's what those outriggers are. I've always wondered whether they were hangars or nacelles. Looks like someone was a fan of BSG.

It's better then nothing.

What would they be nacelles for? :?

The engines - my knowledge of SG space tech is pretty limited, mainly because the Beeb stopped showing it before it started depicting starships regularly. Therefore I've only managed to catch the occasional episode from YouTube.

Oh...okay. In Stargate they use hyperspace window generators(aka hyperdrives) which don't require any visable nacelles or other visable external engine components.

Is there any indication that the hangers have a backdoor? We always see the 302's and the Puddle Jumpers using the front exit, but I was wondering if there's an aft bay so that it's easier to land when the ship is making a run for it.

I don't think there's an aft entrance. The rear of the flight bay seems pretty solid to me.

Do we have any info on how many fighters the Daedalus can carry?

16, IIRC.

Thats it? :?

You'd think they'd want a few more fighters on a ship of that size.

I'm by no means an SG expert, but that seems...low.

16 a bay would make sense but, only 8 per? Why build the damn thing...

Yeah, it seems a little short on fighters for its size.

Well to be fair its not designed to carry fighters, its just something they added for a bit of flexability it seems.
