Not likely given the "first man on the moon" shot in the Ent titles.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

Be cool if it was.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Well, I think we all agree that the Terran Empire is much cooler than the Federation.
On that note, why are the bad guys always cooler?

They dont have to play by the rules or have morals, they can get away with doing anything they want.

The only difference is semantics and any given individual's point of view.Mark wrote:Has anyone ever theorized that maybe THAT is the REAL universe? And our Trek is the Mirror? That universe seems to follow humanities journey alot more realisticlly that of "officia" trek history.

For me, it's because on TV, a usually see somebody of impeccable moral character, strong, forceful, brave, and so on. Most people you meet in day to day life aren't like that. Therefore, in the MU, I see the side of people that I'm more familiar with.Rochey wrote:Well, I think we all agree that the Terran Empire is much cooler than the Federation.

They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

"Evil" isn't bound by the same constraints as "good."Rochey wrote:Well, I think we all agree that the Terran Empire is much cooler than the Federation.

How many times in Trek have we seen some pain in the butt alien acting stupid with our crew? In the M/U we'd just shoot 'em and teach them some manners.
