Great: The ship itself, the Doctor exploring his "humanity", Jeri Ryan's butt (come on, she's hot in that outfit!).
Good: Delta Flyer, the hot rodded shuttle, Year of Hell, the starship race episode.
Average: Neelix, yes he's annoying, but he meant well.
Poor: The Kazon, the techno-deficient-but obviously-brilliant-but-stupid-Klingon-neverwillbes.
Terrible: Janeway, Janeway, Janeway. I think they should have stuck to their original actress in Geneveve Boujold instead of Kate Mulgrew for the role.

Great: Tuvok, The Doctor and Chakotay going into his Maquis personna when it suited his needs.
Good: Doctor Chaotica, my favorites episodes.
Average: Storylines, most were ok
Bad: Nelix. Need I say more about this? Tom Paris and his "bad boy" image. It was sad.
Terrible: Time Travel, done to death. Then brought back as a Zombie and then killed with a bullet to the brain.

First off, deuterium is also called heavy hydrogen, and is an isotope of hydrogen. If you substitute hydrogen with deuterium in water, from H2O to D2O, you get heavy water. According to ST canon, it can probably be used as a fuel source, quoting an exerpt from Insurrection, when the Son'a were attacking E-E, LaForge was in engineering and stated, "Captain, we're burning deuterium down here..."

I always thought that meant "losing it to heat from inefficencies caused by battle damage," not "using it as an auxiliary fuel source." I thought it was the PRIMARY fuel source. I took Geordi's comment much like if you were to say, "Your diesel truck is burning oil." The oil isn't a fuel; burning it is a side effect of poor operation.

I didn't think of it like that, Mikey. You may be right.

I am tempted to put the entire show into the average category, which was the problem. It never tried to be anything else but average Trek. Which, I guess, should put it in the "bad" category.

Janeway sucked so bad my friend Uzume stopped watching Trek. I got her back into it while she was staying here.

As strange as it may seem, I have never, ever seen any of the first season of VOY. I never made a point of NOT watching it but I guess, it's never been on TV at a time when I would have watched it so by chance, I never seen any......UNTIL NOW! Oh my God, I'm almost embarrassed to watch it. You know when you watch something and it makes you cringe? That's how I feel when I'm watching this. I know every first season of any version of Trek has traditionally always been the lamest but VOY season 1 really does have to win the competition, even worse than ENT in my opinion.
(I swear, if I could reach in through the TV and grab Neelix, I'd beat him to within an inch of his life, let him recover and then do it all over again)

I'd pay you if I could watch you do it, too.

Pfft. The first three seasons of Voyager had a lot of the best scenes in Trek, entirely due to the Doctor. The plots and dialogue were shit, most of the actors were average, but with Robert Picardo they hit gold, and gave him some of the best lines of the series to work with. The result: pure brilliance.

You're right, I fixed my earlier post.
