I program most of them in, but in Stats there aren't many equations to program in, most of it has to be done with a chart or data table, neither of which can be programed into the calculator, however, you gave me a brilliant idea on how to remember stuff better.ah...see I like to program all the equations onto my calculator so I don't have to remember the exact equation, just how it works.
what kind of calculator do you have?
And I have a TI-83/84. I'm not sure which, but its one of the 2.

It was 30C here today and last time I saw a cloud was... probably Wednesday.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Honestly, GK, you had two days off for that little bit of snow? I saw a news report from somewhere in SW England, showing the terrible traffic, uncontrolled cars, etc., due to the snow - incredibly, the scene showed little enough snow on the roads that the blacktop was still visible. I then surmised that folks in that area are fairly unused to snow of any amount.

Exactly - inches of snow is a once-a-decade occurance, if that. If this was routine every winter, not only would everyone have a good deal of experience with the conditions, but we'd also have the necessary equipment to deal with it. Since it's so rare it simply isn't worth investing in the tyres and snow chains that would be needed to deal with a permanent layer of winter snow.

Nor do I - but summer-only tires a rare option around here, plus our municipalities have the proper equipment and supplies onhand. Further, dealing with snow every year, makes the typical drive over here better able to deal with the conditions.Lt. Staplic wrote:I don't have specialized tired or chains.
