Yeah, now that you explained it to me it seems pretty obvious, i guess i was to tired last night. Thanks.

I took it more literal, as he uses "a" to mean singular but then uses "applications" which is plural. There is also a lack of punctuation. His post supports his other failure.

His grammar is atrocious, no doubt, but that hardly disqualifies a person for gainful employment these days.

Yes, but as I'm sure you're aware, hyperbolic sarcasm is a federal requirement for language-arts educators.

...or you could just ignore the Literature teacher part, and look at it this way the student failed a test that the teacher stapled a Burger King application to it. That's what I saw, didn't notice the Literature part until it was brought up.
