Funny, that looks like the same car, just with two extra doors.

Truth to tell, I'll be in the market for a car soon, too. My boss just bought a used car for inventory which might interest me - a 2006 VW Jetta TDi, 75,000 miles on it. The only issue I have with it is the relative scarcity of diesel fuel around here. The closest station to me with diesel is about 10 minutes away.

Then again, he also just bought a 2008 VW R32. Only problem is that I don't feel like having an idiot light on every other week, which VW's are notorious for...

jetta's a good car. I see a few of them. Pretty favorably reviewed. Depends on what kind of size car your looking for? and what MPG?

Man, i love the cars ford sells in Europe and other countries. you guys get all the cool stuff. like the turbo focus, the ford mondeo, the ford falcon.

example:

american focus:

euro focus

Ford hasn't made a car that i really like save for the mustang and the merauder since 1997 when they stopped production on the Thunderbirds for no good reason. ford trucks are still as badass as always though.

Ah, you misunderstand. Thats not just a focus. Thats a slightly uprated one. It looks like a resprayed ST model. but its a 5 door...

negative. the ford probe was sold over here as well. it came as a turbo and an na I-4 and later a DOHC V-6. the probe was a smaller front wheel drive car. the Thunderbird was a Big rearwheel drive monster. Origionaly available in the lx model with the 3.8l NA boat anchor v-6 or a Supercharged variant of that motor. later T-Birds were equiped with the venerable 5.0L V-8 then the new 4.6L V-8. with the V-6 as an option throughout and the "Super Coupe" supercharged package running until '95.

I personally own a 1990 Thunderbird Supercoupe and i run about 17-18 PSI of boost. and i gotta tell you its one of the best cars ford ever made. if ford produced a car like it today i would buy it imediatly

for your entertainment i have some of my teardown/ build up pictures:

Me, yes i like to work on my car with no shoes on, yes i did end up regreting it

Take note of Cyl # 3 (the one on the right) and how it looks alittle different. the headgasket blew on this cylinder. the coolant seeping tnot the cylinder actually hase a kind of "steam cleaning" effect on the piston when its running.

Got my (work) medical results today, all ok - there's a history of raised cholesterol in parts of my family so got that checked too turns out my level is 4.0 mmol/L. <5mmol/l is a good result. Gonna treat myself to lots of fatty food this weekend. What would you suggest as a suitably dedecant meal? Either home cooking or stuff to buy in, doesn't matter which as long as I can feel I shouldn't be eating it :)

And dont get any stereotypical woman driver things. She's quite a petrol head at times.
Is that UK for "leadfoot"?

Got through finals week, thank goodness, and now I have to increase my physics grade, I got a 69 last quarter
Which isn't much better than anyone else in the class. I also have to boost my statistics grade, last quarter I got an 80, my mom expects me to be the really smart one that gets good grades, lol
Besides that, my life is boring, extremely boring, I got my phone replaced for the 5th time last week, (only 2 weeks after my previous replacment) so I hope to get a new one sometime soon, my dad doesn't want me getting a new one til my 2-year contract expires, that'll be a year from now, that's not happening, lol, so I'll get to replace it myself, my mom agrees with me, so I'll get it in March or April, hopefully.

is your stats class AP?

mine is, and it is by far the easiest hs math class I've ever taken.

My guidance counselor swindled me into taking calculus my senior year instead of stats.
