There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.
Re: Starship Pics
There's something odd about me being gone from the forum for almost a year, and in the second thread i open you guys are talking about me I'm glad i left some sort of impression.shran wrote:Isnt't that ship on the trek-esque nebula one of the ships Darkomen drew, or am I mistaken?
I actually based my E-G design off of the "Trekesque" design with the authors permission.

Is it just me, or do the 2nd and 4th ships look like a fed/romulian cross breed?mwhittington wrote:Nice images of fan ships on Deviant Art, here's an example:

Not really, although I can see where you're coming from.

So a four nacelled large battle ship with a promethius-esque saucer... sounds interesting
I can certainly do it if you guys want! Haven't started up AutoCad in quite sometime but it would give me a good excuse to do so

Re: Starship Pics
I think it's the structure of the nacelle struts that give it that impression. Most other Fed ships either have very thin nacelle struts, or blocky ones like The Excelsior or Nebula classes. the Leviathan and the No.4 ships both feature more wing like struts, which would be more reminiscent of a Klingon or Romulan ship. Klingon ships tend to feature quite angular wings, so the flowing and more elegant, curved design of these struts is more Romulan in style.Lighthawk wrote:Is it just me, or do the 2nd and 4th ships look like a fed/romulian cross breed?mwhittington wrote:Nice images of fan ships on Deviant Art, here's an example:
