I like it. I get to write my position paper for an upcoming Model U.N. conference.

what's it about.
is Model UN national?
i.e. if I join here I'd get to meet you in person at the conference?

Yes it's national, but this is a local conference. If we went to a nation conference, it's possible.
KUMUNC I get to represent the Soviet Union in the German crisis committee. This'll be fun...

Well we don't know what the crisis is until we get to the conference. The crisis "breaks" in front of us. My position paper is the Soviet Unions general position on what looks to be a German Re-unification crisis.
This is all we have to go on until we get to the conference, thats what my paper is based on.

There do be Model UN conferences over here, as well. I remember the delegation from my school was Iran the last time they went, and the topic was human rights. Fun stuff!

Wow, there's a challenge.
"Now, wait.
Why can't we pour acid on people again? I'm just not getting that part."

mmhm. Model U.N. is actually internation, unfortunately my school is too small/insignificant/cheap to try for an internation conference.

Hm, think we do it differently here. Here we have delegations from different schools and colleges take on the roles of representatives from different countries and discuss and debate various issues. Sometimes they're informed of the subject before hand, sometimes they aren't.

Nope, that's how we do it here too.

And now I've found out they dropped me from one of my classes.
Now I need to take about six hours out of my day tomorrow to give them a piece of my mind.
And my computers messing up.

Bad luck abounds, it seems. Now my uncle is trying to control the whole bidding process for this house, as well as other aspects of the sale. He wants to bid extra-low, which will extend the process by weeks... During which time, someone else could put in a
reasonable bid, and scoop the place out from under me.
In the meantime, they're tearing down all the patio fences at my apartment, and putting up new ones; they're renovating the whole place, day in, day out. It's driving me nuts, honestly, and if they came into this apartment, I'd probably be evicted for damages. I don't have weeks to wait.
