 Why me?

Rest assured, i will not make the arduous and mostly pointless journey across the atlantic ocean just to molest some guy off DITL.

Besides....you're mostly too old for me, on here anyway.

Well Reliant...If I didn't pick on you, It'd mean I didn't like you.

Well, I went out and looked at a promising house today; there was only minor damage to the siding, and a slight foundation problem (things I could overlook). Everything seemed great, until I got the inspector's report. Serious plumbing problems, non-functional AC (which is a major issue in Houston, believe me) and furnace, problem with the water heater, and some other electrical issues. :(

Way too much for me to fix myself, and we don't have the money to hire people to repair all of that. :?

On the plus side, as soon as I started looking again, I found an even nicer looking place with all new AC, furnace, re-tiled master bath, and a much better kitchen in the same area, for $1,000 less. I'm going to check it out tomorrow, and schedule an appointment to look inside ASAP. :)

Here's the new one I'm going to look at:

Let's hope this one doesn't have any glaring problems. :?

beggers can't be choosers.

That's what you should tell the people selling the house when you renegotiate the price lower :happydevil:

Damn dude......that's a nice place. Something like that would go for a cool half mill out here on the island.
