My personal favourite method of dealing with sleeping students is finding the largest textbook in the room, quietly walking up behind them, slamming said book down right next to their head, and continuing the lesson as though nothing had happened.

I've yet to see a class actually wake their fellow student up in time to avoid the impending startling.

One of my highschool science teachers used to do that...only he used a hammer and a cookie sheet.

One of my teachers just let me sleep through the entire class, and told the rest of the class to not wake me, thankfully I had no class the next period...

And another time we let a kid stay in there for about 15 minutes before he woke up, we we're all staring at him when he woke up, and he just looked around and walked away very embarrassed.

My teachers let me sleep for the most part; they knew I already knew the information.

Three months to read Great Expectations? Seriously? I finally started reading other stuff in the book.

We were allowed to sleep if we were finished our work. I didn't get to sleep to often...

Ahh... Blueberry-flavored cigars rock. Makes my house smell like muffins rather than ashtray.

I mean, smoking is bad, but if you have to, it might as well smell pleasant.

I prefer bourbon-flavored ones. Even better, I just prefer drinking the bourbon.

I was once woken from a nice in-class nap by my electronics teacher, Crazy Bob, when he turned on the power supply (300V, but only at 0.01 microamp) which he had connected to both of my pinky fingers.

Sounds like something my Grandpa would've done.

I wonder if characters hear the background music during movies/TV shows.

Anybody have any idea what to do for a computer which randomly loses a wireless signal?
