As Sense Presence is not a sustainable power, my guy is going to be pinging the area with it ever few minutes. Do you want me to make a test for every use, or just make one to apply to all?

All depends on how far they are from the bridge. Two km's isn't much for an Astartes. Though, if they're right at the bridge then we may want to lure them too us rather then running towards them. Raging water plus a waterfall plus forest makes for a great sound absorber.

So, ambush where we are or at the bridge?

They aren't very far away, I pinged them off a 90m Sense Presence.

Then we could easily beat them there. Not sure about the girl who's with us. But for the Astartes it will be a "hurry up and wait".

I say hunker down and let them come to us. We'll surprise them and cut them down. Plenty of things around to eat the sound up.

Well, thats one vote for waiting here, so long as they come this way.

I vote for heading to the bridge and cutting them down just as they reach our side.

Anyone else want to throw in their thoughts?

I think letting them reach the bridge and blasting them off it seems a good idea. Though we should be careful not to destroy the bridge. I think though I'd like to see the map before making a final call on it.

At best, maybe two Orks abreast at a time. Of course the leader will be in front. The bigger Orks like to be in front.

I'd like us to move to that patch of trees just North East of the bridge. Even when some of our rounds miss, they can have a chance of hitting the Orks behind.

His detection range for this is 90m, not much farther than the distance to the bridge.
