Wow, never realized you live in a dangerous area. There is nowhere I would walk armed; of course I do drive 90% of the time I go anywhere. But I'll walk in gang infested areas without worry.
Though I've never been to Texas.

And run like hell if they start shooting at you.

And, once you start running, remember not to zig when you should zag.

See, I just don't think "limping slowly away" is a valid tactic if people start shooting at me; thus, why I own a firearm.

I'd just walk away. Wouldn't care if they shot me. It would be nicer if they didn't, but I do not fear dying.
Which is probably why nothing ever happens to me.

I take it you were at the back of the queue when survival instincts were being handed out?

Anyone who feels safe in this neighborhood unarmed is either stupid, naive, or a combination of the two... After I leave, the only reason I'd ever come back is if I became Batman.
Stitch...........
Take it from me.........getting shot SUCKS!!!!!!

I'm not sure it was him...somehow in two days I've gotten a third degree burn, a fractured hand, a skinned elbow, and I crushed my knee with a piece of wood. All of these injuries are independant of eachother, and at no time was I envolved in any athletic competition.
I think I'm going to stay in a padded room for the rest of break.

So, THAT'S why your posting has slowed down a bit. Look on the bright side!!! You can't get hurt for to much longer in '08!!!

I wonder what my first injury of 2009 will be? A sprain, another fracture, maybe I'll dislocate my shoulder again just so I can bring it up to a nice five times.

well the types of injuries i suggested as being the first ones in 2009, are ones I've gotten playing soccer (football where your at). The ones I've suffered: I burnt my arm when I slipped and touched the inside of our furnace door. We heat our house with wood because it's like 10x warmer with 1/8 the cost, I smashed my hand moving a couch from the downstairs into the living room upstairs, I skinned my elbow on my ceeling. I have a loft and a texturized ceeling, and I was half asleep, i'm not exactly sure how it happenned, but it hurt like hell. and today while I was out getting more wood (for the furnace I burnt my self on) I slipped on some Ice while I was carrying it and from where my dad ha cut it off to the truck and the 40 lbs piece bounced off my knee.
It's been a bad week.
