So it seems the majority of opinoins is against Thorin's wanktastic idea. Me, Reliant, and Teaos against Thorin, and I think Rochey. Although I can't really tell since he's more concerned about winning an unimportant argument then to address the important stuff. But either way it seems to be leaning away from Thorin's idea.

I don't know what Rochey's standpoint is, but it seems to me that Reliant is now pretty indifferent, because he's listened to my points - my figures DO work in universe, and they CAN provide more RPing opportunities.

Adress my points, Blackstar.

They can. but you'll need to work it with Teaos IF he is willing to work it out.

How exactly? Your idea is for a god ship that wipes the floor with everyone. God ships don't exactly make for good writing.

Before even refuting your main point, one of the best ST films - is about a God ship; the cube. It can be good if you make it good - it depends on writers ability; I've shown there are plenty of RPing opportunities - a lot of them better than just doing the boring, unoriginal "it's gonna be a close 'un".

Though all the above is irrelevant - it's not a god ship, because it's comparable with its counterparts. You wouldn't compare the Sovereign with the Oberth, Constitution etc, would you? You'd compare it with the Valdores and Neghvars. You don't compare the Paladin with Dominion Bug Ships or Intrepids, you compare it with Dominion Battleships, Spheres, and Scimitars.

Oh...i see your point now. I still disagree with it though, but the decision is up to Teoas

Blackstar - you made an assertion that there werent enough torps to fill up the ships, and that empty space can't be used to hold things. When your logic on these assertions was challenged, your response is, "Well, it's not really important?" That doesn't fly. If you are going to posit a point, you have a responsibility to address the issues with it.

Well, now that that's finished how about you adress my points?
Here, I'll even make it nice and easy on you an repost them here so you don't have to go looking for them:
Wrong, you're asking me to prove that something isn't there.
Incorrect, it's not a negative I'm asking you to prove. I'm asking you to prove something that logicaly makes no sense and differs from the default assumption of Occam's Razor. Provide proof that ships are sent out without full torp complements, or Occam's Razor proves they have full complements.

That doesn't mean they're any safer. If you drop an 'inert' bomb it can still explode
Well whoop-de-fracking-do. The fact remains that whatever method of storage the Federation uses for torps keeps them in a safe state.

No rebuttal, even though the other discussion you claimed to be afraid of cluttering up is over? How predictable of you. Concession accepted.

That's absolutely hilarious coming from the one person on the site who's too much of a coward to own up and keep debating and instead runs and hides behind flimsy excuses.

Your the one who refuses to give up without a concession.
