that's not all that different than over here.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Well, gang........I appriciate the encouragement to take the transfer. The powers that be are working out the logistics of the move, and HOPEFULLY, I'll be upstairs by the first of the year. In other news, my estranged wife and I had our first "get together" and managed not to kill each other!!!

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Did it result into anything constructive for the both of you?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Interesting question Shran. I didn't think about that till I read your post, but I think yes. A VERY tiny bit, mind you........but there WAS some positive communication, and that COULD be a step.
BTW..........I went home last night, and my home PC is infected BIG TIME with a virus. I can't even bring up my anti virus software. Looks like I'm going to have to re-install windows and wipe the whole drive, unless anyone has any better ideas.

Do you have a friend who could manually remove the virus?Mark wrote:BTW..........I went home last night, and my home PC is infected BIG TIME with a virus. No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Maybe.........but if it's too much work, he'll just suggest wiping the drive as well.

If you can put the drive in a second system and then use the AV software on that machine to scan your drive then you may strike lucky. However, that said we would allow you to add the drive to a good system.

Well my family just had the biggest argument ever, and are on the verge of divorce. Futhermore, my father seems to have inclined toward abandoning me completely. Don't you just love family issues.
