Okay, I edited my CS. I took two mags of Frags and one mag of Kraks.

I fully agree.

Hi, LH! Hope you had fun. (Salamanders have glowing red eyes, BTW.)

It was a hell of a time.
Two things I must say though...
1) Florida weather is miserable.
2) Disney is the homeland of the Milf
(Salamanders have glowing red eyes, BTW.)
No shit? Huh, must have missed that. *goes editing*

Last minute change to my character, replaced Hard Target with two purchases of Psychic Power and took Blood Boil and Hammerhand.

And on my side of town is nothing but college girls who because of #1 walk around in as little as possible at all times.

No s**t.
Seriously, your fall is nearly as bad as my summer...with worse humidity.

...okay, so maybe the heat isn't all that bad...

So anyone else have anything to add before I shove us in the drop pod?

I just remembered last night that you asked me for the BS advance scheme a couple days ago. Sorry man I'll try and do it today after I get back from EB Games.

Not a problem. I just went ahead and made it up for Antonia. Now all I really need it for is Phebia.

Ok, since there are no takers I will push us ahead to the drop. Guess you're all just stoic space marines eh?

Shields
Ok, looking over the rule book shields give you a +15 bonus to your parry attempts. However the waters are muddled by the fact that the IH gives its shields an AP value. Given that armor doesn't stack I assume that would mean you only use the AP value of the shield if its higher than your armor. I'm not 100% wild about that. For the moment we're going to stick with the basic rules. Shields give a +15 bonus to parry. Stats for an Astartes shield to follow. I just removed the primitive trait from the tower shield in IH and upped the damage for the shields greater mass. We'll said its made of cermite. Still a pretty sorry weapon over pretty much anything else we should be carrying.
Astartes Shield
Melee 1d10+2I 0Pen Defensive, 10AP
I'll get a map of the area up hopefully today. For the moment the mountainous ridge we're on runs north to south. The fortress is to the west of us, about two kilometers. The whole plateau we are on is forested. There is a small lake to the north with a river that runs to the southwest from it about half way to the fortress. The fortress faces the west.

OK, rolled 12 for silent move and 34 for awareness - both successes. I'm going to quarter the south and west, only about 100m out from the drop site or so. Anything?

You notice some ork tracks, they look to be fresh, to the south end of the clearing. They're heading to the east. They look to have been a group of five to ten orks.
