It's in line with the ST universe because of our approach to the ST universe - all along we've said we're doing a reasonably competant approach to the ST universe - or more particularly Starfleet's militaristic-ness.

Basically, what I have provided, numbers wise, is in line with the Starfleet, if Starfleet said: "We want the most kickass battleship we can possibly build with the resources we have. We'd like it built by 2390." That design brief is what was given by Teaos et al - I have kept within that brief and put forward realistic figures based on that AND the ST universe.

okay...give us the stats on weapons and defensive systems, and we'll see if they are concistant. i mean the exact quantity of photon/quantum and phaser weaponry.

...I did...

I have no idea what page it's on now, but I provided very reasonable figures, based on SF's brief of "best battleship we can make in 2390".

Thorin, did you mean this post?

And I'm still waiting for a reply, Blackstar. I'm not going to just go away.

I think Teaos has already made a ruling on this point.

No, one further back where I analysed the differences between the Galaxy and Sovereign, and then attempted some reasonable extrapolation on how the Paladin would compare to the Sovereign.

Teaos actually said he wants to see the argument and other peoples views on it.

Who wants to take bets on how long it takes for Rochey to go away?

Good luck with that, but I'm not going to go away until you adress my points. I've had enough of your intellectual dishonesty and I'm not going to let you get away with it any more. You claim you want to stop cluttering up this thread with our debate? Then answer my points and our debate will end quickly enough. Continuing to ignore me will result in this continuing.

Hopefully quickly enough so that I don't kick him in the ass with my mod powers.

Eh, I doubt they'd overly care.
