I... I just... I have no words. I'm just... confused. Deeply, perhaps permanently, confused.

For those that enjoy (or at least understand) Mechwarrior Online, here is TheB33F explaining how to pilot the Direstar:

Not a practical Mech, but funny if you can make it work.

Re: The Youtube video thread!
OK, so this isn't Youtube... and perhaps far less interesting for some than for me. However, considering how close this is to my home and how threatened these magnificent animals really were (and, with the help of some dedicated people, how far they've fought back) I think this is pretty damned cool... the Bandit and Bay osprey-cam!
In a nutshell... ospreys - which summered along the Jersey shore regularly - became extremely threatened through the use of artifical chemicals. Being strict piscivores, such chemicals (especially insecticides) become strongly concentrated in their diet and severely limited reproduction through damaging effects on eggshells. Combined with habitat loss, this nearly did in the ospreys. Regulation of environmental chemical use and a strong campaign to create osprey-friendly habitats, including a fair number of nesting poles, helped return the osprey to the area and to stronger numbers. Well, someone set a camera on one of these returned nesting pairs, and they've since become dubbed Bandit and Bay and become something of a local cause celebre.

I think in that first clip, we saw the rare act of motorcycle-mating.Graham Kennedy wrote:
