Wil Wheaton performing his story "William F*cking Shatner" with Paul and Storm live at "Wil Wheaton vs. Paul and Storm" at Largo, Tuesday, March 29, 2011. FYI: I missed part of the intro. in which Wil explained that he and Bill Shatner have since reconciled. More info: http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/ and http://www.paulandstorm.com/.

While amusing.....what exactly in this story makes Shatner a dick?
They had a ridiculous concept (teenage boy on a bridge) and a ridiculous costume and he dared to voice his oppinion.......now I am not really defending him and I have no idea if he is a dick or not....just saying that in this particular case it seems the problem is more Wheaton being overly sensitive. Sure I get it, hero worship and then he makes fun of you...that sucks. But considering how people are (and they might have bad days for various reasons) and not everyone can be 100% super nice all the time.....I don't think that makes him a dick.

Having a kid genius on the bridge is stupid, sure. But you don't say that to the kid in question. Because it's not his fault. And because he's a kid. Yeah, not everyone can be nice all the time, but isn't the unwritten rule that you're kinda supposed to be nice to kids, pretty much all the time?
