It's not graphic horror, it's getting-inside-your-head horror.Tsukiyumi wrote:It's not a slasher-type, though there are some graphic scenes. It's more of a cerebral horror film. I prefer nonsense horror, like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
And I'm sure everyone is going to be shocked to here this, but I am not changing my avatar.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Wait, are you implying that sex needs a reason?

well the hopes of me Getting into Crofton are infinitesimally small. They are oversubscribed, the waiting list is twice the size of my arm, and i am low priority because i dont live in the catchment area.
I'm screwed.

That's really unfortunate, Kierann. A gifted young mind like yours should be challenged so that it can really thrive. Granted that my childhood was already unusual (in the degree of my shyness) but looking back, I think that the ease with which I breezed though the NY public schools deprived me of the kind of stimulation I thrive on.Reliant121 wrote:well the hopes of me Getting into Crofton are infinitesimally small. True. As the husband of a literacy coach - my wife teaches the teachers - and former G&T teacher, I see it all too often. Everybody's worried about the kids who are behind, yet fail to differentiate enough instruction for the kids who need more challenges - and they end up falling behind due to boredom or lack of stimulation.
Sorry to hear about it, though, Reliant. Although it will be a huge hardship for you, I have faith that you can get through.

My father is going down to Bridgemary to have a rather....stern conversation with our headmistress to see what can be done. On the plus side, I am not doing a traditional GCSE. I'm doing the new "diploma" Which is alot higher level work. Hopefully this might challenge me more. And for every wednesday, i travel to a different school
