This is what I bought, power blade ( 1d10 +3 E, penetration 6 ), stummers (2), recaf (10), lho sticks (5), rotgut booze (1), 30 man stoppers, and 30 dum dum bullets. I also sold some things I no longer needed.

When are you going to be able to take Melee Weapon Training (Power) to go along with that blade?

He's got a point. Without the training it's a -20 to all tests with it.

Get a chain sword, you should be able to take that talent, and it's still a damn fine way to rip people open in melee.

Mmm, chain weapon goodness. Stupid career path, I can't get it until 3k XP. The Sororitas are very much a shooty bunch.

I'm fine with my mono right now. I just wanted a better knife for emergency hand to hand combat, and cooking n' stuff. Plus, I can still use it without activating its power source, without penalty.

True, it is still a mono blade. And if we ever need to get through a door and can't risk Haxta blasting it open...

I may go for a chainsword, though. Not terribly quiet, but damn effective.

Great weapons are good if you don't have any special skills. Plus they're really cheap.
